Ingredients
- 1 kg. Mutton
- 2 tbsp ginger sliced
- 1 tbsp garlic crushed
- 2 tbsp pepper powder (fresh)
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 3 chillies slit
- 2 onion finely sliced
- 2 twigs curry leaves
- 3 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Method
- Marinate the mutton with coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger, garlic and salt for half an hour.
- Pressure cook this marinated mutton for 20 to 30 mins or until soft with just enough water.
- In another pan heat oil. Add onion, green chillies and curry leaves and saute until golden brown.
- Then add the cooked mutton and saute till dry and dark brown. Finally add the garam masala and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with chapathi or rice.
